Position Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining the development databases of the agency, for coordinating and implementing training on these systems and for providing communications to the agency donors in a timely manner. The position supports the Director of Development and provides administrative and database support to the Development Department.
Requirements: Ability to work with a diverse group of staff, volunteers, clients and committee members; strong knowledge of computers and databases. Must have 2 years database management experience or equivalent. Must have strong organizational, critical thinking and communication skills; ability to handle multiple assignments; demonstrate flexibility in determining priorities; strong computer skills, primarily in Word and Excel is essential; strong database experience; strong interpersonal skills, a professional attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED is required, as well as database and computer experience. A bachelors degree is preferred.
Computer Skills: Must have excellent knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software and preferably fund development software (i.e. Raisers Edge)
